Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Policy & Refunds
We understand that life happens and plans sometimes change. As a small business, each catering order requires advance planning, purchasing, and preparation, so while we will always do our best to work with you when circumstances arise, we kindly ask that cancellations and changes follow the guidelines below.
CATERING CANCELLATION & PAYMENT POLICY
A 25% deposit is required to reserve your catering date and will be applied toward your final balance.
- 31+ days before your event: Cancellations will receive a refund of the deposit, less a $50 booking fee, or the full deposit may be transferred one time to another available date within 12 months.
- 15–30 days before your event: The deposit is non-refundable, but may be transferred one time to another available date within 12 months.
- 8–14 days before your event: The deposit and any expenses already incurred are non-refundable.
- 7 days before your event: Your final guest count and remaining balance are due. After this date, all payments are non-refundable and no cancellations or reductions to the guest count, menu, or order will be accepted.
- Caterings booked within 7 days: Payment is due in full at booking and the order is final and non-refundable once confirmed.
WEDDINGS & LARGE EVENTS
Weddings and catering events totaling $2,500 or more require a 50% deposit to reserve the event date. Because Briskets BBQ reserves the date, staffing, equipment, and production capacity specifically for these events, the deposit becomes non-refundable 60 days before the event. Prior to 60 days, cancellations will receive a refund of the deposit less a $100 booking fee, or the deposit may be transferred one time to another available date within 12 months.
Final guest count, menu selections, event details, and remaining balance are due 14 days before the event. After this deadline, all payments are non-refundable and no cancellations or reductions will be accepted. Additions may be accommodated based on availability and will be charged accordingly.
Payment of your deposit or invoice confirms that you have read and accepted this policy.
